Women's Ministries
The purpose of the Women's Ministries activities and events is to encourage women to know Christ, grow in Christ, and sow Christ in their families and communities. We encourage circles (small groups) and participation in gatherings planned for all women of the Church and community.
A Circle is:
- A place where faith is nurtured, and growth takes place through study, fellowship, prayer and outreach;
- A place where Christian leadership is born, nurtured, and sent forth to minister;
- A place where God blesses you with the gift of Christian friendships.
Most Circles meet once a month either in the Circle members' homes or at the church. The meeting times and places are published in The Open Door, in the church bulletin and in our email newsletter, Tower Talk. Our Circles are open to all women who would like to be a part of our friendship and study. To visit or join a Circle, contact a Circle leader and attend a meeting. We would love to have you join us.
Young at Heart
Couples, singles, retirees,
(predominantly senior citizens) gather monthly in Webster Hall
for lunch followed by a program.
Offered eight months of the year, Young at Heart events are provided at a nominal cost; non-members from Red Bank and surrounding communities are welcome. Reservations are required and may be made by calling the church at 732-747-1348. Young at Heart programs are announced in the Open Door, in the church bulletin and in our email newsletter, Tower Talk.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is an international, Christ-centered ministry that helps mothers develop friendships, creativity, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Its purpose is to nurture every mother by meeting her distinct needs. Those needs include discovering how to become all that God has designed us to be as wives, mothers, friends, and women. We learn together, share together, and encourage one another on our journeys.
Prayer Vigil
A 24-hour Prayer Vigil is held once a month, typically starting on the first Friday of each month (the first full weekend of the month). The 24-hour Prayer Vigil begins at 4:00 p.m. Friday and ends at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. The Nurture Team welcomes members and friends of Tower Hill to participate in the Prayer Vigil and also to submit prayer requests. The Nurture Team has a table set up in the narthex after services on the Sunday prior to each Prayer Vigil. The table will have a representative to answer your questions, a sheet on which to sign up for the next month's Prayer Vigil, and a box for prayer requests
Participants commit to a one-hour block of time in which to pray. More than one person can sign up for a specific slot. Participants are encouraged to come to the Chapel and use the current Church prayer list and the prayer box requests. Many pray-ers also pray at home, especially those praying during the night and early morning. There is a combination lock installed on the back entrance to the Chapel to provide increased security from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Our church has a fine collection of approximately 1,700 Christian books, for all ages, available for borrowing from our library in the Parlor. Instructions for borrowing are posted above the card catalog. Browse the collection; you'll discover a great read!

To borrow a video or DVD, please contact the church.
Men's Softball
The Flames, our softball team, is a member of the Christian Fellowship Softball League, a 10-church league in Monmouth County that focuses on men's fellowship. Games are played on Monday evenings from mid-April through August. The Flames also sponsor a special game to benefit Tower Hill's Manna Program, which provides food for the needy. Participation is open to members and regular visitors from ages 18-70. A family trip to a local minor league baseball park is scheduled at the end of the season and is open to all.
