English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes
Hispanic Ministry -- Volunteers Always Welcome
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are being taught at St. Anthony's of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Although Tower Hill Church is responsible for Thursday evening classes, volunteers are needed both nights. ESL classes run from the third week in September to early May, with breaks for Christmas and Easter.
Following a period of instruction with ESL teachers, volunteers work with several students helping with English pronunciation, word recognition, etc. It is not necessary to speak Spanish, and no special training is needed other than a caring heart.
Please pray about your involvement with this meaningful ministry to the Hispanic population in Red Bank. If you can help as a volunteer tutor or a substitute teacher, please contact Gerd Printz through the church office at 732 747-1348. Your help can show God's love and make a difference!
