Love in the name of Christ reaches out to Monmouth County residents to provide people-to-people help and develops programs to mobilize churches to meet community needs.

LOVE INC coordinates local area churches to help the poor, which ensures efficiency, reduces duplication and promotes participation.

LOVE INC creates programs for the churches to fill unmet needs. Some of the services provided are:

• Community Clearinghouse -- screens those in need for the churches to ascertain if their needs are legitimate and ends duplication of services
• Wheels Appeal -- used cars for the needy
• New Creations in Christ -- ecumenical effort of area churches to work toward affordable housing
• Pennies from Heaven -- storefront offering free women's and children's chothing
• Furnished With Love -- used retail furniture store
• Connect -- Christmas gift giving program
• Cuts for Christ -- free haircuts
• Mentoring -- relationally based program that moves families out of the cycle of poverty
