Dominican Republic Mission Trip/ Eva M. Russell School
Our church has supported the Eva M. Russell School in the Dominican Republic for over 10 years. These kids come from broken homes and have been rescued from the streets. Over the years Tower Hill has helped the school grow from 35 children and a classroom in a chicken coop to 200 children in proper classrooms, library, cafeteria, kitchen, playground, orphanage and dental clinic, all built with major help from our congregation. But for every child in school there are five standing at the chain link fence looking in...
House of Hope
Home of the Good Seed
The Home of the Good Seed is a Presbyterian mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for indigent children, often those we would consider orphans in the US. It also cares for children suffering severe abuse. The Home of the Good Seed currently cares for over 20 children in a Christian setting, and has provided care for almost 50 children over the last 10 years. Without The Home of the Good Seed, these children would be indigent and, most likely, homeless, as shelter in the Sao Paulo slums is at a premium.
Gospel Growers Child Sponsorship Program
Gospel Growers, Inc. is a Christian organization that addresses the spiritual and material needs of the Haitian people in the Southwest part of Haiti. Gospel Growers supports 11 Christian schools, sponsors a Christian Radio Station, gives Bible seminars to the many small churches in the nearby mountains, and finances a dispensary to help with the medical needs of the people.
Rev. Dinah Abbey-Mensah
The Rev. Dinah Abbey-Mensah is a Presbyterian minister in Ghana, West Africa, who attended Tower Hill when she was at Princeton Theological Seminary. Dinah has dedicated her ministry to helping impoverished women and children in Ghana. Dinah enabled African women to start a small batik sewing business.

Church World Service CROP Walk
Raises money for local food banks and other food centers around the world. Members of the staff and congregation support the event each year and would welcome help and participation on Walk Day.
The 2007 CROP Walk was held October 21. As of October 26, the current estimate for the amount of money raised by Tower Hill walkers is over $9500. We thank all the walkers, contributors, and supporters for making this a success.
Tower Hill Church Justice League
The Tower Hill Church Justice League was formed during the winter of 2005 by some members of the senior high Bible Study. Having goals similar to those of Superman and other heroes of the original cartoon from which we derived our name, the Justice League, our youth mission group, works on behalf of the weak to bring justice to the world.
The THC Justice League aims to:
- Pray for victims across the world (because prayer works!!),
- Educate others about present injustices,
- Fundraise for the THC Justice League fund. The money will be donated to larger justice-seeking organizations, such as the International Justice Mission and the Genocide Intervention Fund.
Love what God Loves. Hate what God hates...hate injustice.
